Hello there ✽ नमस्ते ✽ Γεια σας

My name is Hope Sudarshan Glastris (she/her) and I’m what you might call a multidisciplinary creative: graphic designer, illustrator, and visual artist.

I create visual identities and design assets for small businesses and non-profits. I prioritize value alignment, imagination, and bucking trends. I love quirky design, but I also believe that unfussy solutions work best for most folks. I work with the likes of coffee people, musicians, wellness and care workers, nerds, food lovers, activists, and weirdos in general.

My illustration work is primarily digital, but heavily influenced by my background as an analog artist. It leans surreal and decorative. I love botanical motifs, psychedelic color, line, texture, and dream-like imagery. I am drawing, permanently.

I grew up in the DMV area, where I live now. I’m Punjabi-Greek-American. I received my BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (drawing, painting, and mixed-media), and my post-bac in graphic design at the Corcoran College of Art + Design. Currently, I work as the graphic designer at the South Asian American Digital Archive, and as a community art and yoga educator. I’m often cooking, hiking, playing pool or D&D with my friends, singing to my cats, and complaining about overhead lighting.
